HOW LONG WILL SUPIMA SOFTNESS LAST?
Lots of fabrics feel soft at first. That's because lots of fabrics have a chemical or heat-processed finish. Unfortunately, that starts to wear off as soon as you wear them. Or wash them.
With Supima, the softness is integral to the fiber: It never goes away.
CAN I BLEACH SUPIMA COTTON?
You can do anything to Supima that you do to ordinary cotton: Unlike most luxury fibers, Supima is actually sturdier than run-of-the-mill varieties.
That means you can machine wash Supima cotton, throw it in the dryer, or use your favorite laundry detergent. And even bleach it.
Use it. Abuse it. Wash it. Wear it.
Supima still looks great.
WILL SUPIMA STRETCH OUT AND LOSE ITS SHAPE?
For two big reasons.
First, there's the cotton fiber itself. Supima is a special cotton with an extra-long staple length that's extremely stable and dependable.
Secondly, there's the garment construction. You'll notice that all the seams here are stitched flat, that neckline ribbing is reinforced, and there's none of the shoddy sewing that you find on cut-rate cotton clothes.
Beyond that, clothes stretch out for technical reasons like insufficent twist in the yarn or uneven knits—and you won't find any of that here.
